Malvern Civic Society is asking for nominations from Society members and from the general public for its 2020 Award.  An annual award has been made since 1994 for a new or renovated building which adds something special to Malvern’s built environment.  The aim is to publicise schemes which are not only excellent in design and craftsmanship but which will also relate well to their surroundings.  All sorts of projects have been considered.  Recent winners have been Elmslie House in Avenue Road, South Lodge in Abbey Road and the Rogers Theatre at Malvern College, but a dormer bungalow and a garden gazebo have also been highly commended.

For a building to be eligible, work on the property must have been completed before 31st December, 2019 and nominations must be made before 31st March, 2020.  Please contact John Dixon either in person, by email (awards@malverncivicsociety.org.uk) or by phone (01684 574144).  The award is a small plaque to put on the building, but it is highly regarded by winning owners, builders, architects and developers.
