On Friday 21st June, a small group of volunteers spent the morning clearing brambles and ivy from around some of the gravestones in the older part of the Cemetery. It was a hot morning and several large bags of undergrowth were cut down to reveal stones and inscriptions.
It is likely that another volunteers day will be held later in the year particularly when the growth can be cut back and cleared.
