An expert on Elgar, Richard gives regular talks at the Firs, Elgar’s birthplace. Elgar is as much an enigma as his variations and this talk seeks to introduce him in a way that most people don’t recognise. Many people think him as a nationalistic composer of Land of Hope and Glory – but prepare to be surprised.
Doors open at 6.30 for refreshments with the talk following at 7.30pm. Booking not required.
