Malvern in the Great War

Malvern’s home front was far from dreary in the opening weeks of the war. Initial hysteria led to some strange phenomena. Hear about the complaints from disgruntled visitors and locals about the dearth of entertainment and feeding bread to the ducks in the park, but mostly about the bravery of the local boys fighting abroad and how women so often bore the brunt of the poverty and hardships at home.
Doors open at 7.00 pm for a coffee before the meeting.
