Local Visit: Pershore and Pershore Abbey
Tuesday 25th August at 10:30 am – 4:00 pm
Our visit to Pershore will encompass a walking tour of the town in the morning, led by the Chair of the Pershore Civic Society, Michael Hodges, followed by lunch at the Pickled Plum (for those wishing to partake). We will then visit Pershore Abbey in the afternoon, where Judy dale, the President of the Civic Society, will guide us through its fascinating history and provide access to the Tower for those who to see the fantastic countryside views from the top. Please note that this climb will not be suitable for those with significant cardiac or orthopaedic conditions.

Maximum number: 24 (NB this is an increase from the previously scheduled visit).
Start: 10.30 am for the walking tour and 2 pm for the Abbey visit.
Finish: 4pm approx at the Abbey.
Transport: own car/car share.
Price £11 plus booking fee plus lunch if participating.
