Some members will be aware that a formal decision was taken in September 2020 to dissolve the Worcester Malvern National Trust Centre (WMNTC). For several years, Malvern Civic Society (MCS) has had joint continental holidays with WMNTC which have been well-received by those, from each organisation, who have booked on them.
In addition to these joint continental holidays, WMNTC has also organised a UK holiday each year for its own members, for many years.
Tailored Travel have agreed to reschedule the Lake Garda holiday planned for May 2021 to the corresponding dates next year (departing 1 May 2022). With the agreement of those who have already registered and who have indicated that they would prefer to go to Lake Garda in May next year, those application forms will now be retained for that holiday and matters reviewed in January 2022 to make a final decision whether to commit to it: that would mean that no deposits will be taken in the meantime.
If anyone, who has not already registered, wishes to register for the holiday, please download and complete the form on the website and send it to Clive Hooper at the address given on the leaflet, preferably with debit or credit card details included; he will then register the application and check in January 2022 whether there is a wish then to proceed before any deposits were taken. (As at March 2021, 4 twin/double rooms and 3 single rooms are available for registration.)
