DESCRIPTION:Mainly through Herefordshire woodland\, there are two parts\, the second being optional.  Part one visits Woodbury Hill and the second\, Abberley Hill. DESCRIPTION:THIS VISIT HAS BEEN CANCELLED.  It is has now been rescheduled for 31st July 2024 as an “own transport” event – every effort will be made to share transport.  See this link for details. \nA day with the Giffard family\, who have lived at Chillington Hall since the Middle Ages and whose ancestors are buried in Brewood Church. We will have a guided tour of the house and a trailer tour of the park and lake. Following an al fresco lunch\, we will then drive to Brewood\, where we will have a guided tour of the Church and the Giffard tombs\, followed by a cuppa. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCoach Transport

DESCRIPTION:To be given by Ian Lloyd-Oswell \n\n\n\nC. F. A .Voysey (1857–1941) was an English architect and furniture and textile designer. Voysey’s early work was as a designer of wallpapers\, fabrics and furnishings ina simple Arts and Crafts style\, but he is renowned as the architect of several country houses. Ian Lloyd-Oswell has been passionate about Voysey’s life and work from an early age and will speak about the architect’s style and achievements within the Arts and Crafts movement.
