DESCRIPTION:To be given by Richard Churchly \n\n\n\nRichard will discuss the start of the local needle trade c1640 and show how it grew from a tiny cottage industry into a major force in the Redditch area. It employed tens of thousands of people by 1900\, producing all types of needles for export all over the world. \n\n\n\nDoors open at 6.30 for refreshments with the talk following at 7.30pm
