DESCRIPTION:  \n \nBAFTA-winning comedy icon Sir Tony Robinson talks about his remarkable life and career in Malvern Civic Society’s 2025 Malvern lecture. Tony starred as Baldrick in Black Adder and in other comedy roles\, and has emerged as Britain’s foremost face of popular history\, presenting 20 seasons of Time Team\, and writing and presenting other TV series and documentaries such as The Worst Jobs in History and Walking Through History. \n \nAfter training at the Central School of Speech and Drama\, he spent years as a theatre director in Birmingham\, and performed at the RSC and the National Theatre. \n \nWe can expect to be amused and educated in equal measure. \n \nThe Malvern Lecture will take place in the Forum Theatre at Malvern Theatres.
