SUMMARY:Great Malvern Heritage Walk 2026
DESCRIPTION:Discover the rich heritage of one of England’s most charming spa towns\, famed for its invigorating Water Cure. \n\n\n\nJoin one of Malvern Civic Society’s volunteer guides to trace the town’s evolution from a 19th century spa destination to its important role in the development of radar in World War II. Along the way\, explore Victorian architecture\, Great Malvern Priory connections to composer Sir Edward Elgar\, and sites celebrated through Malvern’s many Blue Plaques\, commemorating notable visitors and residents. \n\n\n\nWhether you are a first time visitor or a lifelong resident\, you will leave with a deeper appreciation of Malvern’s cultural and historical legacy. \n\n\n\nThe 90 minute tours operate every Saturday and Monday from April to October\, starting at 10.30 from the Tourist Information Office (TIC) at 6 Church Street Malvern (01684 892289) .  The cost is £7 per adults\, free for 14-16 year olds. Private group walks may be available. Enquire directly with the TIC. \n\n\n\nDue to the content of the tours and the hilly nature of malvern\, these walks are not suitable for children under 14 years of age\, or for anyone with mobility issues. Sorry\, but no dogs\, except for assistance dogs. \n\n\n\nTickets are available from Ticketsource. If the site shows SOLD OUT\, more tickets may be available directly from the Malvern Tourist Information Centre. \n\n\n\nAs group sizes are limited\, booking in advance is recommended to avoid disappointment.
