CANCELLED Talk: The Great Fire of Windsor (Online / Live – depending on circumstances)

THIS TALK HAS BEEN CANCELLED.  It is hoped to include it next year.

Fraser Gunn originally served in the RAF, mainly in the Middle East, and then joined the Fire Service, later transferring to the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service.  His talk will give a brief insight into the castle and pre-planning by the Fire Service and castle management, and then focus on the events of 20th November, 1992, the fateful day of the fire.  It will also consider its aftermath and the reconstruction which followed.
