We will visit the creator and sculptor of Malvern’s iconic “Buzzards in Flight” at his studio and grounds in the morning. Lunch, at your own leisure, will be followed at 2.30pm by a conducted tour of St. Mary’s Parish Church, with beautiful views over the town of Ross. In the churchyard is the Plague Cross, erected to mark the graves of c.300 townsfolk, buried at night and without coffins, during the savage outbreak of the 1637 plague.
Light refreshments will be provided in the afternoon.
Start: 10.45am. Finish: about 4pm
Transport: Own transport or car share.
