Local Visit: Hereford Cathedral

Following our June talk, we will visit this beautiful cathedral, where the community has worshipped together continuously for well over 1,300 years. The day will include: a private conducted tour of the building, lunch at your own leisure and an opportunity to see both the famous medieval Mappa Mundi, which records how 13^thcentury scholars interpreted the world in spiritual, as well as geographical, terms, and the fascinating 17^thcentury Chained Library, which holds many early and important manuscripts.
