NOTE that due to circumstances outside our control we have had to make changes to both the date and content of this trip. The date has now been changed to Thursday 10th August and is now concentrating solely on a visit to historic Bournville with a viewing of a special archival exhibition in the Minworth Greaves building, a guided tour around Bournville Green, and a walk and talk around Selly Manor Museum and the Lawrence Cadbury Collection. There will then be the opportunity to purchase lunch at a variety of venues and either return home or continue on your own to explore further Bournville Village to see the wide variety of house styles, and also view other buildings of interest.
We meet at 10.45am at Selly Manor reception for tea and biscuits and the guided walks and talks will finish at 1.30pm.
Maximum number: 20
Transport: Self arranged by either car or train. There is parking near to the museum and the railway station is 20 minutes easy walk on the flat (train leaves Great Malvern Station at 9.08 am).
