We will meet in the car park of St. Wulstan’s Local Nature Reserve (Post Code WR14 4JA). From there we take paths out of the Reserve leading to Abbey School and Kings Road. We then head up Richmond Pitch to the A449 onto Hollywell Road and climb past an old quarry incline railway to reach Wynds Point. Past the Malvern Hills Hotel (toilet stop and snacks from The Kiosk available here) and then over the A449 to the car park. We will head down past the reservoir, past Tinkers Hill to join the lane that takes us to Little Malvern Court and Little Malvern Priory Church. We then cross the A4104, with care, to the car park, join a field path to Watery Lane and then into Chase Road and St Wulstan’s Drive. We walk down to the Reserve to get back to our starting point.
The walk is approximately 5 miles long taking up to 3 hours.
This is a walk not recommended for dogs.
The walk is described as “moderate” with some steep and difficult sections but with plenty of interesting things to see. There are 5 stiles. Good, stout, walking boots are essential.
