An anticlockwise circular meander around Colwall Stone, through beautiful fields, woods and orchards. About 5 miles taking approx. 2.5 hours. Half way through the walk there is an alternative easier route to the finish which is shorter and misses out any styles. Otherwise a walk on generally good pathways (some rutted field edges) with only a couple of gradients. There are 3 styles and 2 streams to cross.
Arrive by 9.45am for a 10.00am start from Colwall Railway station carpark GR755425, where car parking is free and which is adjacent to the Colwall Park Hotel WR13 6QG.
Sensible foot wear recommended.
Dogs are welcome but will need to be kept under strict control and on leads where there are cattle and sheep in the fields.
After the walk we gather at the award-winning Wyche Inn at the Wyche cutting for lunch. Dogs are permitted but if they are wet, they will be restricted to the lower bar.
