Please note that this walk is on 28th September and not on 14th September as shown on the Heritage Open Days leaflet and on our Events Programme

The walk links two little-known Motte and Bailey castles, both close to very early, twelfth century churches set in fields. The latter is a historical site maintained by English Heritage.

Length: 5 miles
