Dr Adrian Burden, Founder, Malvern Festival of Innovation

Adrian is the Chief Technology Officer of a blockchain software company called BlockMark Technologies, the Technical Director of Key IQ Ltd that manages the Wyche Innovation Centre, and the Managing Director of the social enterprise Innovate Malvern CIC promoting Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) in the Malvern area. Previously, he has worked in the electronic displays industry and was the founding CEO of a high-technology anti-counterfeiting start-up in Singapore that was later acquired in a multi-million pound deal. Building on this experience, Adrian has published the business book title Start to Exi: How to maximise the value in your start-up.  Adrian has a degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge and a D.Phil in Materials Science from the University of Oxford.  He is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the IET, the IOM3 and the Royal Microscopical Society.   He is also a STEM Ambassador and an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham.
