A walk around Croome Park following the carriage drive around the perimeter. This walk will take roughly an hour and a half. We will meet outside the Church on the estate to take in the fine views of the Malvern Hill. Also there is the possibility of a tour around the house if enough people are interested. The walk will be led by Eileen Clement and John Chugg. Stout footwear is recommended.
Dogs are not permitted on the walk.
Entry to Croome Park for National Trust members will be free if membership cards are presented but non members of The Trust will have to pay the entrance fee, currently £12 for an adult.
Our final walk for 2019 takes us onto Bredon Hill for our post Christmas walk. The walk will cover about three miles, taking us from Conderton to Overbury, by walking up Bredon Hill to take in the views and return by a different route if conditions allow. Parking will be available outside The Yew Tree Inn, Conderton GL20 7PP, if you are planning on eating there after the walk. You are advised to book in for lunch on arrival. The walk is being led by Roger Sutton. Walking boots will be essential.
Dogs would be welcome but not in the pub and will need to be kept under strict control at all times.
